Welcome to Mel's Pet Shed and thank you for purchasing and/or considering to purchase from us.
When Purchasing from Mel's Pet Shed, you are bound by the Terms & Conditions. If you have any questions in regard to these please contact us. Mel's Pet Shed reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.
Your Order and Fulfillment
At Mel's Pet Shed we aim to supply, you, our customer with be best quality available. Sometimes this can be a challenge with poor quality available on the market or even stock unavailable from Manufacturer. If we are unable to fulfill and send your order within 7-10 working days, we will contact you with a time frame and offer you an option (see Exchange, Refunds & Cancellations ). Orders are generally packed and sent within 24 hours. But due to stock demand (ie. Vet lines during Summer) stock can take up to 7-10 working days to be sent. If you require an item urgently please contact us to confirm stock levels before ordering. Items WILL NOT be refunded as stock will be ordered upon order received and be may arriving within a day or two.
All orders will receive a tracking ID, so you can monitor you order's travels (See Delivery for more information)
Exchange, Refunds & Cancellations
At Mel's Pet Shed we aim to resolve all issues as fast as possible. If an item of purchase is faulty or damaged on arrival all reports are to be made within 7 days of receiving. From here we can discuss a resolution.
When ordering foods and treats, refunds and exchanges are generally not given once opened. If you are not happy with your product or received the wrong item please contact us before you open. As you may not be eligible for a refund. For any issues regards illness or palatability (premium food ranges) please contact us ASAP so we can contact suppliers/manufacturers.
At Mel's Pet Shed we aim to fill and send orders within 24 hours, if you make a mistake or no longer require the order please make contact via phone, email or Facebook as soon as possible if the order hasn't left the "Shed" we can change/cancel the order. If you miss this time period and receive a tracking number before contact is made, still contact us as we may be able to rectify still.
Due to the restrictions of this website, regional areas are not registered. As a result some area can have massive costs, in this case we may contact you in regards to this and offer an additional postage cost or an automatic refund. This case generally only occurs with heavy items ie 20kg bags. If you do live in an area that may regional please give us a call or send a message. As a growing small business we hate to disappoint our current and future customers, but at this stage absorbing large freight costs isn't an option.
Special Orders will incur a cancellation fee of 10% due to these items not being head on premises and cannot be cancelled from the manufacturer.
Please note that courier fees are much higher for customers to return. Funds will be refunded back to you minus shipping and handling and freight returning to Mel's Pet Shed.
At Mel's Pet Shed we aim to make all warranty issues as easy and low effort as possible. To make things quicker for us please hold onto all receipts for long term warranty items (ie. grooming clippers and aquarium filter etc.) via providing an order number we can easy track information. If we require to search for you original order, this may take time due to many factors such as ease of us, NO ACCOUNTS and also the sheer volume of orders arriving each week.
Mel's Pet Shed uses multiple courier services to give you the best results. Australia Post is the main courier used, if you prefer an alternative courier please contact us as soon as possible or notes can be added into the view cart page. Please note that this might incur extra postage fees which payment can be made over the phone. If you have an specific delivery requests, from the most common, leave on the front deck to the most entertaining, dogs on premise they will only lick you to death. Please add these the notes area or send us an email.
During national holiday such as Christmas, courier services slow down and items can take up to 5 extra days to arrive. All items will have a tracking number for you to contact the courier for more information. If you have any questions please contact us and will be happy to help.
Stock Held on Hand
At Mel's Pet Shed we hold reasonable stock levels to meet the need of the average house hold. During seasons such as Summer in Queensland, Vet lines such as Bravecto and Preventic Collars can be originally ordered as a top up and sold and awaiting arrival to be shipped to you in one day. As a result orders can be held up, we aim to keep back up stock levels high but unfortunate we can't always predict online sales.
If you are a rescue or even a business and require large quantities please contact us so we can organise the best way to get stock to you fast.
Discounts and Coupons
Well lets be honest, we all love a good discount. Discounts from suppliers/manufacturers are passed on directly to you, depending on the items in the form of a "sale" or a coupon codes.
Coupons and Sales:
Cannot be placed on orders previously made;
Must be entered on before finalizing you order, not afterwards;
Cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. Automatically you will receive the best deal for you (Example, free shipping or 20% off)
