Bravecto chews are a long-lasting treatment that protects puppies and dogs against various external parasites for up to 3 months. This formula is indicated to protect dogs from fleas, flea tapeworms, flea allergy dermatitis, ticks, mites, and mange. Bravecto for dogs is flavoured with hydrolysed pork protein and is readily accepted by the majority of dogs when offered as a treat.
Bravecto is suitable from 8 weeks of age and over 2kg in bodyweight, multiple weight ranges are available to choose from to make sure you dogs are covered. Bravecto is not affected by bathing, swimming or using shampoos etc. making it ideal for year round use.
Bravecto uses active ingredient -
- fluralaner is used to treat and control external parasites such as flea and tick infestation
Bravecto is available in monthly or 6 monthly packs on request.
Flea Prevention
- Kills newly emerged fleas before they lay eggs and breaks the flea life cycle
- Treats and controls flea infestations for 3 months
- Controls pre-existing flea infestations within 8 hours
- Can be used as part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis
- Effective flea control with Bravecto prevents flea tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum) infestations
Tick Prevention
- Treats and controls paralysis tick infestations for 4 months
- Treats and control brown dog tick infestations for 2 months
- Treats and controls bush tick infestations for 2 months
- Controls pre-existing paralysis tick infestations within 24 hours of treatment
- Provides>95% efficacy against paralysis ticks within 72 hours after tick infestations for 4 months
Mites and Mange Prevention
- Treats and controls ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), demodex mites (Demodex spp.), and sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei)
Bravecto must be administered at or around time of feeding.
Bravecto is approved for use in breeding, pregnant and lactating females.
