Kangaroo tails are the perfect healthy bone. Kangaroo low in fat, perfect for allergy prone dogs, these tails also contain a natural source of marrow, calcium, glucosamine and chondroitin (joint and arthritis health). Kangaroo tails come in full tails, ideal for medium to large breeds or splits ideal for small to medium breeds. Also available are chunks for tiny to small breeds.

These treats are air-dried not cooked. This means the treats are safe for dogs without the risk of splinters like cooked bones. Air dried means nutritional value is high compared to cooked, meaning more value in your dogs health.

At Mel's Pet Shed we recommend to monitor pets while enjoying these treats and throw away smaller pieces to avoid choking hazards. In puppies please monitor before trying for the first time. Puppies are crafty and can pop off knuckles or even little chunks. Make sure they are past the roll and throwing toy stage as choking might be a risk here. Another sign that these might be an idea to try, the use of paws to assist in chewing. Being able to hold and chew means for a safer treat.
