Whole Dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae have been shown to perform well in diets of poultry due to their high palatability and nutrient content. Whole dried BSFL have been proven to enhance the flavour, colour and nutrition of eggs, in particular the yolk, leaving them richer in ã-tocopherol, lutein, â-carotene and total carotenoids without changing their fatty acid composition but decreasing cholesterol by 11%.
