Make NexGard your dog’s monthly treat and you’ll have reassurance of protection against flea infestations as well as ticks (including the deadly paralysis tick), mites, lice and flea tapeworms. NexGard is working within 4 hours of treatment.

NexGard can be used in all dogs from 8 weeks of age and greater than 2 kg, multiple weight ranges are available to choose from to make sure you dogs are covered. NexGard is not affected by bathing, swimming or using shampoos etc. making it ideal for year round use.

NexGard uses active ingredient - 

  • Afoxolaner is used to treat and control flea and tick infestation
NexGard is available in 3 or 6 month protection packs. 

Flea Prevention

  • Kills fleas fast, within 6 to 8 hours
  • Rapid action kills newly acquired fleas before they can lay eggs

Tick Prevention

  • Provides effective control of pre-existing Paralysis ticks within 24 hours
  • Protects all month long against Paralysis ticks, Bush ticks and Brown Dog ticks

Mites

  • Treats and controls three of the most common mange causing mites affecting dogs: Demodex mites, Sarcoptes mites and ear mites.
  • Mites are small parasites that can live on, or within, the skin of your dog.
  • Infestation with mites leads to a disease know as mange. Depending on the type of mite and severity of disease, signs of manage can include skin irritation, itchiness and hair loss.
  • Some mites are highly contagious, spreading easily between dogs. Sarcoptes mites may even transmitted to humans
NexGard is safe to administer with or with-out food.
NexGard is approved for use in breeding, pregnant and lactating females.

For high tick areas, additional treatment is recommended to reduce the likelihood for paralysis tick. Always check your dogs after walking in long grass and bush areas.
