The most complete parasite protection, all in one easy, monthly application. Provides effective flea treatment for cats, as well as protection from ticks, mites, heartworm, lungworm, and intestinal worms (including tapeworms). No need for multiple products – just one and it’s done!

NexGard SPECTRA makes parasite protection easy, flea and worm treatment for cats (including tapeworms and lungworm), plus protection against ticks, mites and heartworm in one monthly treatment. Easy-to-use applicator, low to no odour for reduced stress and mess.

NexGard SPECTRA is suitable from 8 weeks of age and over 800 grams in bodyweight. Two applicator sizes are available to choose from to make sure you cat is covered. 

NexGard SPECTRA uses active ingredient - 

  • Praziquantel is an antiparasitic de-wormer commonly used against tapeworm 
  • Esafoxolaner is used to treat and control parasites including fleas, ticks, ear mites and intestinal worms
  • Eprinomectin is used to treat and control various parasites including heartworm.
NexGard SPECTRA is available in 3 or 6 month protection packs. 

Flea Prevention

  • Fleas are more than just a nuisance for cats, they can cause skin disease and, in high numbers, can cause anemia. They can even transmit infectious or parasitic diseases, some of which can be transmitted to people too
  • Kills fleas fast, within 8 hours, full affect 24 hours
  • It treats and prevents infestations of fleas on cats for at least 5 weeks, ensuring protection for a full month

Tick Prevention

  • A single adult female paralysis tick can kill a cat if left untreated, so preventative strategies are essential
  • Monthly treatment with NexGard SPECTRA is highly effective at controlling new infestations of paralysis ticks. To minimise the risk of tick paralysis, it’s also important to perform daily searching and removal of ticks
  • NexGard SPECTRA also protects against bush ticks on cats

Mite Prevention

  • Mite infestation, also called mange, can cause severe skin or ear irritation in cats
  • NexGard SPECTRA treats and controls ear mite infestations and notoedric mange

Heartworm Prevention

  • Heartworms are transmitted by mosquitoes and can cause significant lung damage as they migrate through the cat’s body
  • Monthly treatment with NexGard SPECTRA prevents heartworm in cats

Lungworm Prevention

  • Lungworms can cause severe, life-threatening respiratory disease in cats
  • Monthly treatment with NexGard SPECTRA treats and controls lungworm infestations

Intestinal Worms Prevention

  • Intestinal worms can cause gastrointestinal disease, malnutrition and anemia in cats
  • Feline roundworms and hookworms can also infect and cause disease in people
